Apple iPhone 3G
Apple unveiled its first smartphone device : the iPhone in the end of the year 2007 , with a distribution model original and a huge buzz to precede it. the phone has been better received in the United States  than in Europe , it has stamped his mark at the outset in the mobile sector through its style and its economy.  In July 2008, the iPhone 3G version comes with a distribution adapted to the mass market, firmware 2.0, which makes it a true smartphone and direct access to mobile applications in the App Store.

The success was immediate: Apple became the third vendor of smartphones in the space of three months, past Windows Mobile.
So, admittedly, there are some little things that are annoying about it  but Apple has completely succeeded in entering a market considered to be difficult .

Nokia N96

Nokia N96 appeared to  make a way for the promising but expensive Nokia N97, Nokia has launched its N96 model, successor to the successful model N95. Still as richly endowed, but still no touch screen, it incorporates the dual format of the older slider.

Still as richly endowed (WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, HSDPA), it is also ready to receive mobile TV in DVB-H through its integrated module. Its large display 2.8 “will be an advantage for the multimedia content that can be stored in its 16 GB of internal memory expandable with microSD slot.  Nokia has also on its mobile services, whether access to Nokia Music Store portal or mobile games downloaded from Nokia N-Gage. The Nokia N96 is a concentrate of technology but its Achilles heel remains the same: autonomy, while its price makes it a premium product.

Blackberry Storm
Blackberry Storm touchscreen is first smartphone that continues its strategy of seduction of the public, began with the BlackBerry Pearl and Curve. Smartphones are no longer only reserved for professionals and Storm falls in step with its main competitor, the iPhone, offering his vision of the touchscreen smartphone.  Abandoning an essential element, however, Blackberries, namely its integrated keyboard (now virtual), the Blackberry Storm uses the screen clickable rather than back by vibration. Boarding enough to satisfy the appetites of productivity and desires playful, it positions itself as a typically versatile smartphone.

Samsung Omnia
The answer to the iPhone from Samsung is Omnia . It runs on Windows Mobile, with a specific interface widgets made obscure the austerity of the operating system from Microsoft, as a part of a versatile smartphone.

That answer appears rather attractive, with a terminal touch interface with a wide range of features and a 5 megapixel digital camera that can play DivX natively and with a strong storage space of 8 or 16 GB, expandable on microSD slot.

HTC Touch HD After  the success of the HTC Touch Diamond, the first smartphone to have the TouchFLO 3D interface and real concentration of technology, unfortunately, limited autonomy and a fair bit of nasty slowdowns, HTC unveiled in the autumn an impressive device, the HTC Touch HD, with a comfortable tactile 3.8 “and a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.  Powerful, alluring, adorned with all the technologies of the moment, the HTC Touch HD has points in its favor and this boosted the successor of the Touch Diamond.
