Should Cell Phones Be Allowed On School Campuses

This controversial subject made not just two or three persons to fight but hundreds of people all over the world. There are many pros and cons opinion so; one doesn’t know what he should think. One should take into consideration one particular thing: cell phones are as important for the young ones as they are for the grown ups. Students want the same things as a grown up wants from one such device: they want to communicate with all the persons they know and care about. That’s how things are. How else could they possibly ask for help if they need it, because let’s face it: accidents can also happen on school campuses.

So, Should Cell Phones Be Allowed On School Campuses or not? Well, if you really want to know my opinion let me tell you that they should be allowed on campuses but there must be some restriction rules. Students have the same rights as their teachers. They should speak on the cell phone all the times they need to, but with only one exception: they should speak on their cell phones during breaks not during classes. That’s how things should be.

Just like teachers have the right of having their cell phones with them at school but they can speak on their cell phones during a class that’s how also happen with students. So, every time a class starts they’ll have to turn off their cell phones as their teachers do. In this way they’ll not just respect their teachers, their colleagues but they will also be respecting themselves. Teachers just like students should respect these restriction rules and during classes they should turn off their cell phones. They can’t oblige their students turn off their cell phones during classes if they don’t do this.

Cell phones should definitively be allowed on school campuses as long as all the students respect the restriction rules. Cell phones are very important so, imagine this situation: a student has problems but there’s no one around who could help him, how else could he ask for help if he hasn’t a cell phone. So, in order to avoid one such situation cell phones should be allowed on school campuses. Just remember all the incidents form the Californian schools, how many students were killed by another one who came armed at school. Incidents happen all the time so we must be prepared for the worst.

Who would have said that students will be killed on their own school during classes? No one, that’s for sure. No one would have imagined one such situation. How do you think Police was announced? Well, thanks to a student who had at him a cell phone. At least that’s how Police was announced in a Californian high school. No one can know what could happen. Nowadays, you can’t be safe even in your own school. So, this is probably the most important reason why cell phones should be allowed on schools, because they offer us security, the security schools should offer us, but they don’t, at least if we take into consideration the latest incidents.
