Samsung Galaxy with its personalized android

The Samsung Galaxy is powered by Android, a mobile operating system designed entirely by Google. For those who do not yet know this environment, the situation can be summarized in a few lines. Currently, Android is counted among the best mobile systems of the market. Originally, the environment is complete, friendly, and of course, fully controllable using the index. Moreover, as it might be expected, compared to competing mobile OS, Android is distinguished by offering PIM and means of communication (email, etc.) must be linked to online services giant’s Mountain View.

This feature will delight aficionados of Google Maps, Gmail and sisters, and will perhaps escape the people who see Google as Big Brother of modern times. Opinions differ on privacy issues but we must admit that when one is accustomed to using these services, Android appears to be a formidable weapon. With this system, the Smartphone is transformed into an open window on the ecosystem of the giant connected research. Finally, it is impossible to speak of Android without mentioning the issue of mobile web.

Telephony, calendar and directory
On the telephony layer, users will not have to worry for two reasons. Firstly, the quality of communications is by appointment. We found that the Samsung Galaxy responded perfectly to the expectations in this area. The sound is clear and the interviewer does not regret any particular problems. On the software layer, everything is better. This is mainly due to the excellent ergonomics of Android phone menus. Simply pressing the button “dropout” is enough to appear a menu to access four main tabs particularly well thought out (see screen shot). The first gives access to a virtual numeric keypad, the second displays the history of incoming and outgoing calls and the third displays the address book (synchronized with the Google account). Finally, wearing a star tab provides instant access to contacts who have been designated as favorites and the contacts who call and are frequently called (motive therefore automatically offers a list of candidates under favorites).

Moreover, the convenience is enhanced by the width and thickness of the tabs generous lines that separate the contacts. In terms of responsiveness, it is hard to beat. The Smartphone responds to different stresses at the speed of light. At all times the PIM data (calendar, address book), it is important to remember Android is a system that should be foremost fans of the Google ecosystem. Indeed, the mobile can not be operated without a Google Account. After the initial setup, all the information contained in the smartphone are automatically replicated and synchronized on servers in the search giant. Like any self-respecting Android device, this Samsung takes advantage of a player of good quality.

Indeed, we must admit that the integrated program is entirely satisfactory. It takes the major music formats supported (mp3 head) and can create many different sorts soon wait for their favorite songs (by artist, album songs, create playlists, etc..). On the other hand, aficionados of Bluetooth wireless headsets have not been forgotten. Firstly, since the update 1.5 of the system (CupCake), the wireless stereo profile is supported by the Bluetooth stack. Then the AVRCP: we can confirm that it is perfectly possible to control the audio player using the hardware buttons which are located directly on the helmet.

GPS and LBS
Samsung Galaxy is equipped with a GPS chip that does not pose particular problems. The speed of detection is set and in use, there shall be no inadvertent stall. Regarding the software layer, users are not entitled to anything other than what is provided with the original Android.

Web browsing
Android requires, Samsung Galaxy is equipped with Chrome Lite, addiction mobile Web browser that Google stands again as one of the best mobile browser market. Even if you do not lie still at Safari Mobile (iPhone), it must be admitted that the challenger Google defends itself particularly well. The interpretation of the pages is excellent and the speed is quite the appointment.
