Pros Cons of Cell Phones When Driving
Many years ago, to be more precise in 2002, was introduced a new law that prohibited speaking while driving. I personally think it’s a good idea, probably the best one. Although like many drivers I’ve took two or three penalties I’ve learned my lesson and the best solution you have is to buy a Hands Free. That will solve all your problems. But not all of us have learned the lesson and you can always find a person who is more concerned of speaking on the cell phone than driving.
Why you shouldn’t speak on the phone while driving? The best answer to this is that you can receive a penalty and I do not think you want this. Another con is that specialists have done all kinds of studies that show that if you use the cell phone while you are driving all your reaction times are diminishing. It is proved that the driver’s reactions are weaker than those if he would have consumed alcohol. All the drivers should be aware of the risks if they speak on the phone while driving. The ones who do this represent a higher risk of producing a car accident if we compare them with those who use the cell phone without breaking the law.
All the drivers should be aware that their life depends in the traffic of a simple “hello”. If you really need to speak on the phone while driving buy a Hands Free. But I do not recommend it. All the drivers should be aware that they are risking their own life for a simple call; and there are cases when you put in jeopardy not only your life but also the life of a second person. Penalties should not be the principal worry for them, but their life. That’s the most important thing.
We see daily at news at least one person that loses his life in a car accident. I don’t think you want to be one of these cases. These are car accidents produced by negligence. So, in order not to see you at News, please don’t speak on the phone while driving or better if you must, please wear a Hands Free.
Reasons why you should speak on the cell phone while driving? I think I was more than precise that I am against it. But if you ask me for some pro reasons I am forced to tell you that there aren’t so many as you thought they were. One of the reasons why you can speak is because you can solve some problems quickly, but no so quickly as losing your life. We see every day people who are speaking on the cell phone while they are driving. They do this because it’s urgent and they must solve their problems. They can lose an affair if they don’t speak on the phone, so if they don’t want this to happen they appeal to the cell phone.
