Pros and Cons of Cell Phones

No one can deny all the cell phone’s advantages. Who would dare do something like this? No one, at least if we take into consideration how much good has done to all of us, how much had simplified our lives and work. It is the communication and information era and cell phones are the best devices used in this aspect. Millions of people all over the world use cell phones. If you have a cell phone one can contact all the persons he wants; it doesn’t matter where they are as long as they have a cell phone. Distance wasn’t and won’t be a problem for cell phones; on the contrary cell phones can reunite two persons who are in opposite poles of the continent.

No one can deny the pros of using a cell phone but there also are many cons of using a cell phone. There are as many cons as many pros. Who hasn’t a cell phone those days? Almost all of us have cell phones. We couldn’t imagine our lives without cell phones. Cell phone isn’t used just to contact all the persons we want. It is also used to send messages, to take pictures, send and receive emails and many others things. Cell phones are now more just a simple cell phone. What I want to say is that, more than one person is affected by the pros and cons of cell phones.

pros-and-cons-of-cell-phonesProbably the best pro I can offer you is the fact that one can contact all the persons he wants with the help of a cell phone. It simplifies our lives because cell phones can contact people anywhere they are. Years ago, it was more difficult to contact a person if he wasn’t home, because landline phones can’t be taken with you. They remain home, while a cell phone goes wherever you are and has coverage almost anywhere. One can solve all his problems by making a simple call; that’s all he has to do. If you are a business man and you’re always traveling, cell phones are an important element from your activity if you want to have a good collaboration with your employees and business associates.

I rather speak about the pros offered by the cell phones instead of the cons. The pros are more important, at least that’s what I think. Who hasn’t used his cell phone in Emergency problems? We all have. Have you ever heard of the expression: your cell phone- a life saver? Well, it’s not just an expression, it’s more than that. It is a life saver. One can contact the Emergency number if he has a problem. One can save not just his life but the others’ too.

Probably the most important con I can offer you is the fact that cell phones create dependence. One can’t leave his house without his cell phone. Don’t tell me, you’ve never went back to take your cell phone. You can leave it at home. You are used with cell phones and that’s why you have the impression that a very important part of you is missing.
