N95 Cell Phone

Nokia N95 is a smart phone produced by Nokia.N95 offers features such as: camera, phone and portable media player, in addition to e-mail service, web browsing, local Wi-Fi and text messages .Nokia N95 platform runs Symbian OS v9.2 with the third edition of S60.The phone uses two Sliding access or media playback buttons or the numeric keypad.




History – The phone was unveiled in September 2006 and was released in late March 2007.On March 22, 2007 Nokia announced that it has begun to transport over seas, to markets in Europe and Asia . On April 7, 2007 Nokia has gone on sale in the United States through Nokia Pilot chain stores in New York, Chicago and through Nokia’s web site by nseries.com.

Features – Integrated GPS
N95 contains an integrated GPS receiver, maps are free and can be downloaded either by air (through packet data) or by phone through Wi-Fi. The maps also can be downloaded via a PC using the Map Loader application. To use voice commands for navigation within Nokia Maps, but you must purchase a license from Nokia.GPS its quite poor compared to other phones in the Nseries range.

Multimedia Skills – N95 is a music player, supports MP3, WMA, SP-MIDI, AAC +, eAAC +, MIDI, AMR and M4A. A standard 3.5 mm jack set on the left side of the phone and allows the user to connect any standard headphones to the unit also it can use Bluetooth for audio output, contains the characteristics stereo. N95 Wear AD2P. The phone is also capable of playing videos using Real Player.

The video-clip application can view the TV-Out function (output TV). TV-Out is a special graphics chip that allows users to connect the smart phone using a composite cable TV or any audiovisual device . The purpose is to view photos and videos on a large screen, the Internet, games Video and music can also be used N95′s built in UPnP capabilities allow the user to share the phones’ digital media network WLAN. It provides easy access to photos, music and videos stored on the phone and allows the download from other UPnP.

Internet – Built in Wi-Fi, with which it can access the Internet through a 802.11b / g network. N95 can also connect to Internet via packet data network such as UMTS, HSPDA or websites like EDGE. The pages to view in portrait or landscape mode and automatic panorama is supported .The phone has Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology for file transfer.

Accelerometer – The N95 has an accelerometer built-in, its purpose is to stabilize the video and Nokia Research photo .The center allows the  interface directly to the accelerometer, allowing software to use data from it. Nokia issued a call to prove this. N-Gage – Nokia is compatible with mobile games on N-Gage.
