This phone is clearly targeting female consumers, as the Samsung Diva or S7070 is trying to replace the long series of pink styled mobiles, so prevalent a few years ago on this mobile phone market sector.

Samsung describes the look of Diva as having a pearl white finish with embossed quitted back cover, right down to the smoky crystal diamond button on the front. This model is destined to be the perfect match for the female wardrobe, and even though the device itself is a pearly white odour, the users have the possibility to customize it with the existent pink styled themes for the screen. The look can also be completed by the accessories.

Samsung Diva measures 101×54.8×13.4 mm, it`s thick, weighting 92.5 grams. The handset comes with a 93.2 megapixel camera, offering a two times zoom and video capabilities. The screen is a 2.8 inch one, with a 320×240 pixels resolution. The device also features a MP3 music player and Bluetooth connectivity, but unfortunately no Wi-Fi . It has a 40 MB built in memory that can be expanded by adding microSD memory cards up to 8GB.

The Samsung Diva will definitely seem appealing to those who prefer their mobile phone handset to look stylish rather than geeky, but still offering a wide and competent range of features. Anyway, from this point of view the device cannot be called a cutting edge.  Additionally, the lack of Wi-Fi is not quite a tragedy but it means limited browsing capacities to the data provision from the carrier. In spite of the minuses, touch and full integration of the social networking applications are available. It also includes a feature popping up messages when updates are being performed to favorite network sites and when the user can chat on all favorite social messaging at the same time. The user can also easily update these sites with photos or other kind of images straight from the Samsung Diva.

Samsung also provides built in safety features for this model, to help the owners of a Diva to feel more secure. So, there is a one touch emergency button that will send a SOS SMS text message to friends and family, and also a Fake Call feature that will make the phone ring as if it would receive a call.Diva will definitely be found appealing to a lot of people who wish a good all round cell phone, looking good as well. For this device, prices are expected to be competitive, especially with additional talk tariffs.
