Cheap Cell Phone
Published by cellphones, on February 26th, 2010, in the categories: cheap
We are all aware of the updates released this year at Mobile World Congress, but can we all afford to buy a phone from 1500-2000 USD every 5-6 months so we are proud that we have the latest technology in our pocket in the mobile domain. Basically most people crave cool gadgets, while the phone’s out of his pocket becomes a flashlight (you know who I mean Nokia). Now, with the economic crisis that is felt and said in November the previous are increasingly real.
This is why we decided to create a top with the cheapest phones on the market phones that do volume sales. We excluded of course phones sold by subscription to pay less initially, but if you gather and the value 12 or 24 months subscription the costs become astronomical.
1 - Motorola W175: price around $35
Even if the price is very low Motorola W175 manages to provide a color display (CSTN with 65,000 colors). The characteristic of the Motorola's W175 are worth mentioning:
• Agenda of 500 numbers
• 70 KB of internal memory which can hold up to 750 SMS
• 3 Games
• calendar, currency converter
• Polyphonic ring tones
• CSTN color display 128 x 128 pixels
If you want to spend another 20-30 USD you can choose Motorola W180, W175 identical except it has FM radio mode.

2 - Nokia 1200: Price about $30
At such a price the features are very simple, not to say non-existent:
• Agenda of 200 numbers
• 96 x 68 pixel monochrome display
• Polyphonic ring tones
• 4 MB of internal memory
• Flashlight
• Battery 700 mAh
• 3 games included
• calendar, calculator, currency converter
Nokia 1200 cell phone typically is used only for verbal communication and SMS: sturdy, inexpensive, small, about that.

3 - Samsung C140: price around $40
Samsung C140 is a little more expensive, but without the other two models data transfer via GPRS Class 10. Samsung C140's key features are:
• UFB color display with 65,000 colors
• 500 phone book numbers
• Polyphonic ring tones
• 600 KB of internal memory
• Transfer GPRS Class 10 and WAP 1.2.1
• organizer, task list, calendar, currency converter
• audio notes
• 800 mAh battery
If he had FM radio, Motorola C140 would be our favorite, but their price is slightly "spicy" and became downgraded.

Note: This top is not a comprehensive one, but informative, based on information provided by some online stores at the time of writing the article. Rankings will be updated as new models will appear at affordable prices.
