Buy Sony Ericsson T707
Sony Ericsson T707 was launched in the spring of 2009 and back then it was the newest edition to the T series, even though it had nothing in common with the rest of the phones, incorporating revolutionary technologies. Also named Ella, T707 was mainly designed for women who want to make a stand, who want to be unique and stand out in a crowd. Designed as a head turned, T707 comes in all the colors of the rainbow making the phone a very classy mobile device. The phone’s price, varies from 160 to 200$, this being the price for an unlocked, commitment free phone. Electronic Bazar has it for 160$, while at the other end Mobile Link has the pink version for 200$.
When it comes to the features, we are obliged to mention the 3.15 MP camera and the generous 2.2 inch display. The screen handles resolutions of up to 240 x 320 pixels and thanks to the TFT technology it incorporates and the 256k color palette, it allows for pictures to be seen as clear as the light of day. The external display is slightly smaller, but both this and the internal display are made from hard scratch-resist materials. The phone allows for a maximum of 16 Gb of memory to be installed using a memory card, so the user will not be restrained from using the bundle of apps the phone has installed. Other interesting features include the possibility of running multiple tasks, for connectivity it has Bluetooth and for the entertainment part, an FM Radio.

Like every other phone, T707 has a few disadvantages. The first and the most important is that the camera, even though it packs a reasonable number of mega pixels, it lacks an auto-focus function and a flash. The video camera’s quality is also pretty weak, filming at only 15 frames per second. Regarding the display, the external display has a low degree of legibility in the sunlight. Other things the phone could really use are the secondary camera for video calls, an accelerometer and finally, an app for viewing documents.

If you consider buying this phone, you have to take into consideration the disadvantages, as we draw the conclusion that even if the phone looks stunning with its design, it lacks a few basic features that would have made it a more practical phone. The mobile was advertised more for the design than anything else, so don’t expect the phone to stand out once you open the flap.
