BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900
Another great BlackBerry phone that’s really worth mentioning is the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900, also known as BlackBerry Dakota or BlackBerry Magnum. This model hasn’t been released yet, but the fuss created around it is so big that I decided to write an article on the device.

Unlike older BlackBerry phones, this one has a capacitive 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen besides the full QWERTY keyboard everyone is accustomed to. It also has some modern smartphone features like an accelerometer and a proximity sensor, components which weren’t integrated into BlackBerry devices not long ago. Liquid Graphics is a new concept created by the manufacturer that is supposed to guarantee a crystal clear image on the display, a thing that many people are waiting for.
When it comes to the design of the phone, we can conclude that it is very elegant especially thanks to that brushed stainless steel frame and those sculptured surfaces. This lightweight model is considered to be the thinnest BlackBerry phone ever made up to this point. Now don’t be fooled by the elegant design, as this phone is not as fragile as it looks. All the build materials are of the highest quality, durability being the main feature of the whole design.

Performance-wise, it’s among the first phones to run the new BlackBerry OS 7 operating system, which is backed up by a 1.2 GHz processor, almost 1 gigabytes of RAM and a surprising 8 gigabytes of internal storage memory. If you observe the specs closely, it’s even more surprising that you can upgrade the storage memory with the use of a 32 gigabyte memory card.
If we take a look at the ways to capture your memories using this device, we must notice the HD video capturing functions and the 5 megapixel camera that will take excellent still images with the use of all the integrated features like the geo-tagging and the image stabilization.
Even today there are a lot of apps for BlackBerry phones, but starting with this model of the operating system, the possibilities will increase even further, a large specter of applications being available starting with this model.
