Apple iPhone – iPhone is a cell phone, media player and a wireless communication device announced by Steve Jobs, CEO Apple, Inc.., During his speech at the Macworld Conference & Expo on January 9, 2007. iPhone has support for push email, mobile telephony, SMS, web browsing. In addition, equipped with a touch screen device, includes features found in iPod media players and running on the operating system Mac OS X.




The device is a 2.5G mobile phone generation, quad band GSM, EDGE. It is equipped with Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.0, and a 2-megapixel camera. It supports vertical rotation or horizontal. iPhone has no keyboard incorporated;  introduction of information is done through software graphical interface implemented by the functionality of sensitivity to touch screen.

iPhone was launched in the United States on June 29, 2007, is available in Apple stores or AT & T. On July 11, 2008, Apple launched iPhone 3G compatible with 3G and GPS assisted. In Romania, iPhone 3G terminal launched in Orange on August 22, 2008, and in Moldova it is officially distributed by Orange Moldova from October 31, 2008.  Cisco Systems holds the trademark for iPhone and sells a line of phones under the brand Linksys, problem not completely solved until the notice of Jobs.
